Time Flew By

WOW! I can't believe I'm one exam away from completing my first semester of college...and I didn't fail! Much has happened since I last blogged. First of all, I got a car! It's a pretty red volvo S40. I haven't named her yet. Any suggestions y'all have throw'em at me. Second of all I got a new camera! I don't know if y'all knew someone stole my first one. It just slipped out of my purse I guess. When I remembered where I had it last it was no where to be found. My newest camera is better than that one, but it's so clunky. The last thing that has happened since we last spoke was my birthday! I'm now nineteen. This is my last year to be considered a teenager. That fact freaks me out a bit...no lie. Twenty just seems so dang old! My parents got me a gorgeous ring for my birthday. It's a sapphire encircled with diamonds. I absolutely love it! When people asked what I got for my birthday I told them a ring. I then had to explain that, "No I'm not engaged, my parents gave it to me." Ha, I can't imagine being engaged right now...maybe in like ten years though. Y'all I have to admit I'm blogging in order to avoid studying. Hopefully I'll start blogging more. Merry Christmas:)

I SURVIVED!

Hello Folks!
Hear the goodness: I survived my exams! I haven't really done anything else too exciting.
Here's a review of the weekend. Friday I went to a tailgate with a few friends. After that tasty meal we went to my friends church and heard an awesome singer. She ways lightyears better than t-swift. I was hungry, so we went to Taco-Bell and got a fourth meal. As if two chalupas wasn't enough we went to Daylight Donuts and had a few delicious donuts. The night adjourned with the fantastic movie " He's just not in to you".
Saturday me and Em got in line early for the student section(we had to save seats). Coach Chizik graciously surprised us with some fantastic pizza. GRACIAS!! After that fantastic game the gang and I took a trip to the Garden (olive garden that is). I feasted like a queen. I proceeded to go to Academy and buy my soccer gear for my new venture.
On Sunday I walked/jogged a 5k with my friend. That was deathly, I for sure didn't get my PR. I was amazed I didn't come in last! After that we went to intramural soccer practice. Many of you are probably asking yourselves, "I didn't know Sarah played soccer?!", that's because I don't. Playing when you a screaming three year old definitely doesn't count. I don't really know what's going on 80% of the time. All I know is to score. As a result of the exercising, my body is completely sore. I should probably work out a tad bit more.
Well that's enough ranting for now. Don't for get to tune into Glee tonight at 8/7c. That show is awesome. Of course I'll say that then it'll stink.
Thought of the day: "Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you all the desires of your heart" Psalms 37:4"

Roadtrip Home!

Today is the day I've been long awaiting. I finally get to go home. This week was a dozey that's for sure. Having a paper due and a huge math midterm has worn me out. Not to mention we had a fire at 1:30 this morning, so I running on empty. I LOVE Auburn, don't get me wrong.
After having my friday coffee with KP,  I'm now sitting in her lovely room. It's so much cleaner that mine!  I'm going to use this thoughtful bible verse in as my thought for the day.

Thought for the day:
Be joyful continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16

I love fall

So today was another beautiful fall day on the plains. I didn't have class until 11, so I took my time waking up. Then I enjoyed the walk to class with my lovely roommate. I was assigned yet another paper though. Rhetorical analysis is a breeze for me so it shouldn't be anything too momentous. I got to do a little studying during my break before calculus. I really don't like that class. Mostly because math has never been my forte. Thankfully that class ended early.

SO, I did my laundry. I let it pile up for a few weeks so it was a chore to carry over there. Now I have clean clothes. My roommate is laughing at old pictures of me at the moment. I had a bit of an awkward stage...who didn't??

Tonight I got to ichat and watch Glee with my mama. I really liked tonight's episode. I'm glad they ended with the song they did. I've already bought the album:)
I should be studying instead of blogging. Mom and Dad should be proud. They will buy me that car (our agreement for me making good grades. I don't have one yet.)
Thought of The Day:
"Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised."
Proverbs 31:30

First Post!

Hello Blog World.

So this is my first post...obviously. I created this basically for my family to keep up with my life, since I am no longer at home. All others are welcome to read.
Today I have my Calc midterm. I know you're probably wondering why I'm not studying. The answer to your question is that I already did and need some time to relax. Let's hope I make an A! All my others classes are a breeze. I know next semester won't be...
Oh yeah, I forgot to add that my midterm is at 9pm. Yep that right, 9pm! I'm trying to stay occupied so I don't fall asleep. I'm reading for this week to be over so I can go home!! I never thought I would miss Hoover, but I do. I think I miss the people there more than the town. I have to pack up my summer clothes before I go though...that will be a chore. Thanks for reading. Hopefully my next post will be full of good news!
Daily Verse:
"Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion"
(Ps 84:5-7).
